Nigeria Photography Expo and Conference Attracts More Photo Lovers

The Nigeria Photography industry will be the cynosure of all eyes for four days as from April 29th to May 2nd 2013 with the convergence of photography buffs at the Nigeria Photography Expo and Conference 2013 (NiPHEC) which will hold for that period.

The event which is the brainchild of eloPhotos Academy spearheaded by an Accountant turned Photographer – Seun Akisanmi is a blend of Seminars, photography classes, exhibitions and much more. He told us that the ultimate aim of the grand event is to enhance the skills of professional and amateur photographers and photography clients.

Targeted to be the largest gathering of photography enthusiasts in West Africa, Niphec 2013 is expected to play host to over 10,000 participants from across Nigeria and beyond. Akisanmi during a press parley informed pressmen that world class photographers from the United States and Nigeria are among the facilitators. Notable among them are Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Joe McNally (USA), Ayo Animashaun, Michael Grecco(USA), Yetunde Babaeko, Jide Alakija and Leke Adenuga.

Some of the areas to be covered by the facilitators include lighting and posing, wedding photography, business and marketing, social media, software and workflow, and video and multimedia. Interested participants can log on to   www.niphec.com for registration details, courses available more. However, registration in March attracts 20% discount in most of the courses.

Furthermore, the expo gives an opportunity to interested exhibitors to book for stands at the four-day event to showcase their products and services alongside some of the leading brand names in the photography industry such as Canon, Nikon, Sony, Epson, Adobe and many others. One of the attractions at the event will be the unveiling of Africa’s first blind photographer – Taivis.

The event holds at Our Place, 7,Olufunmi Okikiolu Street, off Toyin Street Opebi, Lagos State, Nigeria.
